In 2014, she won the first place in the popularity vote in the Diners Club video competition and appeared in Blue Note. Entered the Montreux Jazz Festival Japan Competition Semifinal, the 4th place in the world in the piano category in the international competition “6 string theory”. In 2016, he made a major debut from avex and won the 2017 Jazz Japan Award New Star Category Award. In November 2021, the second new album “Jewelry Box” was released on January 26, while the first jazz album “Celebrity Standards” in the piano trio reached the top of all jazz charts such as Amazon immediately after its release and repeated presses. It will be released on the same day. From January this spring, he is regularly appearing on TBS “THE TIME'” and “THE TIME,” every Monday. Show off live piano performance in the program. The Youtube channel “Riyo Channel” has exceeded 115,000 subscribers.

Hakuei Kim was born in 1975 Kyoto, Japan and was brought up in Sapporo. He grew up in a family with Korean/Japanese heritage.
In his late teens he moved to Sydney, Australia and pursues an intense study for jazz and improvisation at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music under the tutelage of an ECM artist Mike Nock.

During his years in Australia, Hakuei Kim has established himself as one of the prominent young talents emerging on the local scene. After recording his debut album “OPEN THE GREEN DOOR” (DIW,2005),he relocates to Tokyo and since then, many musical situations have unfolded itself. The album has won 4-star rating from the French jazz magazine JAZZMAN.

Yoshiyuki Takuma 宅間 善之

From an early age, he started marimba under the influence of his father, Hisayoshi Takuma, who is a marimba player. While in junior high school and high school, he was active as a top marimba player in the marching band club. In addition to winning national tournaments, he also handles many overseas expeditions. From around this time, he became interested in jazz, started vibraphone in parallel with marimba, and studied jazz theory under Hidekiyo Murai.
He is one of the few mallet and percussion players who is active in all genres such as jazz, fusion, Latin music, club music, ensemble, and healing music.

While attending Sophia University, he was directly instructed by the Grammy Award-winning Spanish Harlem Orchestra in Los Angeles and stood on the same stage.
After graduating, he released his first album “Meri Jazz” in 2011.

Studied classical piano under Suzuki method under Akiko Aoki in his childhood.

Immersed in JAZZ while attending university, and worked at live houses. Started professional activities after graduation.

Masahiro Kanayama 金山 正浩

Born January 2, 1940 in Toyama Prefecture. Graduated from Musashino Academia Musicae. After working for Akira Watanabe and Emverse 5, Jake Concepcion combo, Dan Ikeda and Afro-Cuban Consolation, he was active in the Tokyo Union from 1970 to August 1988, and has since reigned as a regular pianist for the BLUESKY Orchestra.

Shigeo Nukita 貫田 重夫

Born in Tabuse Town, Yamaguchi Prefecture in 1949. In 1976, as a tenor saxophonist, after joining “Toshiyuki Miyama and New Hard”, “Tadaaki Misago and Tokyo Cuban Boys”, “Akio Okamoto and Gay Stars”, “Munehiro Okuda and Blue Sky Dance Orchestra” Joined many big bands such as. Currently, he is active as a concertmaster of “Okuda” Swingy “Englishman & The BLUESKY Orchestra”. He handles all alto, soprano, tenor saxophone, flute, and clarinet, and has a wide range of activities. He is a multi-player player with jazz, popular, Latin, enka, and others. As a saxophonist, he has been highly acclaimed, and is a multi-player who can freely use the exciting tenor saxophone, delicate alto saxophone, gorgeous flute and all-wind. As a composer and arranger, he is one of the legends who provides many works to each artist and band.

Yoshitaka Akimitsu 秋満 義孝

Born August 19, 1929 in Tokyo. Jazz pianist. Dropped out of the piano department of Musashino Academia Musicae. He started his activities in 1947 and joined the popular band “Shin Matsumoto and Ichiban Octet” in 1948 and was in the limelight. Participated in the formation of “Shoji Suzuki (cl) and Rhythm Ace” in 1993, and built the golden age of Rhythm Ace. In 1957, he formed the Akimitsu Yoshitaka Quintet. He is a leading figure in swing jazz style, which is called “Japanese Teddy Wilson”.

Akitoshi Igarashi 五十嵐 明要

Born in Hatchobori, Chuo-ku, Tokyo in 1932. An alto saxophone player who is a great talent in the Japanese jazz world. “Sharps & Flats” “Blue Coats” “Shigenori Obara and Joyful Orchestra”, consistently served as a concertmaster of the big band.
Among the many jazz saxophonists, he is called “ONE AND ONLY” for his mature play supported by his human sensibility and rich expressiveness. It also has a wide repertoire, ranging from swing jazz and modern jazz to cocktail music and dance music.
Awarded by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as a representative jazz player in Japan.
Akitoshi Igarashi, who is celebrating the 70th anniversary of his musician’s life, is now receiving great expectations and attention both in Japan and overseas.

Yasuo Arakawa 荒川 康男

Bass player. Born June 12, 1939 in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. He started playing in his third year of high school and entered Tokyo immediately after graduating. After working at George Kawaguchi and Big Fore, Shungo Sawada Double Beats, Keitaro Miho All Stars, Toshiko-Mariano Quartet, etc., studied abroad at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA in 1965. After graduating in 1968, after returning to Japan, he was active in the soul media with Masahiko Sato trio and Jiro Inagaki, and is still active in WE3 formed by Norio Maeda and Takeshi Inomata in the 1970s.

“Swingy” Okuda スインギー 奥田

Swingy Okuda is a Drummer, Percussionist, President of Japan Jazz Association21and a Band Master of ”BLUESKY orchestra”. (this band was founded by Munehiro Okuda” in 1934 and has the the world’s longest performance career history,acknowledged in 1987 by Guiness Book of Records TM)
Swingy started playing the music from 3 years old. And in high school, he went to the U.S.and made relationships with famous musicians by himself.
After he became a band master, he and his band appeared on various stages in foreign countries, 『Concord Jazz Festival‘95』, 『Four Queens Hotel 「Monday Night
Jazz」』, 『TORONTO Du Maurier JAZZ FESTIVAL』, 『Festival International de Jazz de Montreal』 etc…
Now, he is a producer of “Imperial Jazz” that is the Japan’s largest Indoor Jazz festival for 18 years.
Also, he is working as a music producer and director for TV commercials, cinemas, other various advertisements.
In 2016, he awarded 「NISSAN PRESENTS JAZZ JAPAN AWARD 2016」.
Now this “Maestro of Jazz” is creating new generation music with his extraordinary talents.
